S.O.P.D.

My name is Charles Anthony Douglas Galarno and I have only been playing guitar for thirteen months. I absolutely love music especially Heavy metal. The reason I started playing guitar is from listening to bands like Pantera, Slayer, Anthrax and Heaven Shall Burn. They have given me such a passion for heavy music. Eric and I have been friends for 17yrs (from birth) and I had no idea he played drums until I got my Dean and started learning. Eric and I inspired each other to play harder, faster music every time we played together. We both started out playing soft rock and blues but I introduced Eric to bands like slayer and Lamb of God and we knew immediately that we were going to be a heavy metal band. From then on we both learned songs from Slayer, Anthrax, Pantera and Metallica. Then we strived to learn even crazier music like Dimmu borgir, Arch enemy and Lamb of God.  We didn’t officially become a band until May of last year for B.O.B at our high school. Now we just make up our own songs and just play what feels right. I started out playing an electric guitar (Dean DBDT) with a dime and no amp and now I have 5 guitars and 2 half stacks. A great guitar player told me a musician is only as good as his equipment. So I have done everything I could do to better my equipment as I bettered in my playing. I even sold my car for a half stack and guitar. HAIL SATAN!
